Crossings Community Group is a new member run group united through music, changing lives and minds by creating opportunities to learn and perform and opening up new worlds to the local community.
Refugees, Asylum Seekers, Migrants and all other members of the community are welcome to our music-making and learning sessions.
Most Monday evenings we put on choir, an open music jam session, guitar learning, violin learning and children's choir. These are open to everyone and are free.
We encourage an open, welcoming environment where everyone should feel comfortable to learn, share and express themselves.
We are very thankful to Community Foundation and the Big Lottery Fund Awards For All for providing funds to bring people together through music.
Crossings Charity was a charity set up by Lucy Fairley which was sadly dissolved in April 2017. Crossings Community Group is made up of many members from Crossings Charity and we strive to continue her work.
Crossings Community Group work very closely with The Crossings Band, and are part of the same Crossings family, but are run separately. Contact The Crossings Band here:
